3 AM

It's 3 in the morning. I just got out of bed, Upper abdominal cramping. The first 2 chemo meds were given at the hospital and my take-home meds will continue to run until Thursday afternoon with a little IV pump.

Bathroom break, anti-nausea meds, blood sugar check (high from the meds, but OK), salt water gargle (to prevent mouth sores), back to bed with heating pad on my upper abdomen. It's difficult to sleep with tubes and wires connected.

And now back to bed, arrange wires and tubes from the IV and heating pad, and I'll continue my movie Genesis: Paradise Lost (about evolution/creation) with a headset on (one more wire) so I don't keep anyone awake. Love the movie, but not the 3 AM viewing time.
